I will Learn Your Story to help you put your ideas in order and Create a Design + Big Picture Plan that is specific to you.

This includes gathering information about you and your place.

-         Gather information in detail from you about how you live and use your spaces and what you would like to include in them.

This will include lots of questions as well as chatting with you directly to understand what you are after.

-         Gather information in detail about your place.

This will include understanding development regulations in detail, existing services available, weather patterns and the like applicable to your place.

-        Visit your place and investigate your home and property in person.

This will include understanding how your home fits together, measuring the parts of your home and property which will be affected by change, as well as looking at sun, wind and rain patterns.

-        Draw your existing place from the detailed survey and information gathered.

This drawing can be used in creating your design and a Development Application if required.

-        Draw your existing home from the information gathered.

This drawing can be used in creating your design and in a Development Application if required.

-        Collate all of the information gathered in a written document describing Your Story.

This document will be used to assist in creating your Design + Big Picture Plan. You will also be able to use information within it to prepare a Development Application. It will include written text as well as images and drawings.

WHAT I WILL NEED FROM YOU TO LEARN YOUR STORY

  • A Certificate of Title for your property – usually included with your contract of sale

  • A Detailed Survey of your property in pdf and dwg format prepared by a Registered Surveyor

  • Images of ideas that describe what you would like to achieve

  • A list of any items or parts that you would like to include in your design

       II.          Create a Design + Big Picture Plan

I will help you Create a Design + Big Picture Plan based on Your Story - the information gathered about you and your place.

This will include two drawings that show the spaces of your home - both inside and outside.

-        Prepare three two dimensional design options for your Big Picture Layout and Floor Plan Layouts for consideration, discussion and decision.

-        Finalise Your Design in a Big Picture Plan Layout showing where everything is located.

These drawings can be used in detailing your design further and as part of a Development Application if required.

Indicative Three Dimensional Images

I will

-        Prepare three three dimensional design options for your Big Picture Layout and Floor Plan Layouts for consideration, discussion and decision.

-        Incorporate your comments from the options in the design layouts.

-        Finalise Your Design in Indicative Three Dimensional Images showing where everything is located.

These drawings can be used in detailing your design further.

This means beginning by

-        Establishing how you will build each part of your big picture plan

Then breaking your Big Picture Plan into parts and showing each part on your plan as well as in a schedule, so that you can see how you can achieve each part.
